Lip Surgery

Lip surgery is a cosmetic procedure aimed at reshaping the lips to achieve beauty, balance, and harmony with an individual’s facial features. There are various types of lip surgery depending on the patient’s concerns and desired outcomes, such as creating a Cupid’s bow, reducing lip thickness, or correcting uneven lips.
Many individuals feel that having thick lips, drooping lips, or lips that lack definition can affect their daily life. Some may feel self-conscious about taking photos, smiling, or lack overall confidence. At The SiB Clinic, we offer consultations and can design your lips to enhance your attractiveness.

Lip Reduction Surgery
Lip reduction surgery is suitable for patients with thick lips who want to reduce their size to better suit their facial features and create a more balanced and natural-looking lip area. This procedure can be performed on both the upper and lower lips, or it can be done in conjunction with Cupid’s bow surgery.
Surgical Procedure for Lip Reduction
- The doctor will assess and design the lips to best suit the patient’s face.
- Local anesthesia is injected into the inside of the mouth and around the corners of the lips. An incision is then made to remove excess tissue according to the designed shape.
- The surgical wound is closed with fine sutures, and an outer layer of sutures may be placed to minimize visible scarring.
