Carbon Dioxie is a natural gas that already exists in the body of every person as a byproduct of metabolism, and it increase by the exert muscular effort. This means that the amount of Carbon Dioxie in the body tissue will be increased every time a person has physical exercise. Carbon Dioxie pay the important role in dilating the blood vessels of the body in order to receive more oxygenated blood carrying nutrients to the muscles. Besides, one of the most important role is to destroy the fat cells which are found in the subcutaneous layer of skin.

Carboxy therapy is one of the processes of treating cellulite problem, stretch marks and also old wounds with carbon gas (CO2), in order to restore the shape and appearance of healthy skin. The procedure could be apply to varied of patient body to reduce the unwanted cellulite such as, inside part of the arm, hip, thigh, etc.

Carboxy Therapy for Cellulite

Cellulite is formed from the accumulation of fat cells between the fibrous tissue filaments, which are able to be destroyed by Carbon Dioxie. Not only the effect on fat cells, but carbon dioxide will also increase the amount of blood reaching the fibrous tissue layer beneath the skin. Therefore, healthier looking skin due to the increased blood supply, fibrous tissue will get thicker and firmer with less fat cells in between.

Procedure of the Carboxy Therapy


Surgeon will firstly insert a very caliber needle beneath patient skin, then dispersing release Carbon Dioxie gas into the fat tissue to destroy all unwanted cellulite. The procedure is quite simple and it take around 10 to 15 minutes after the gas were injected under the skin. There is no recovery period or pre operative technique as there is no anesthesia involved in the session.
Carboxy therapy can extend from 4 to 6 session every three to seven days depending on the determination of treating doctor.
